The Lockdown Low-down!

This lockdown we will be staying OPEN, so what’s changed this time around?

Technically, during the first lockdown the government said that we were allowed to stay open as we are classed as a medical service. However the British Chiropractic Association advised us to close and we agreed that this was the best course of action at the time. This was due to a multitude of reasons including lack of knowledge about the virus as well as the PPE shortage.

By closing during the first lockdown, we had time to run risk assessments, put new procedures in place and source PPE. Since being open we have been able to adapt and refine our processes and feel confident that we can continue to provide a safe service.

We will keep monitoring the situation and as ever we ask patients to be up front about contact with symptomatic people and to be vigilent when it comes to hand washing, mask wearing, etc. Should you wish to cancel your appointment for any reason there is no late cancellation fee.
